EACTS: Brand refresh

The project

Led by Barley Communications, Amy came on board to undertake a two-year brand refresh process. Underpinning the refresh was EACTS' mission and purpose, ultimately to provide 'Better skills, better surgery, better patient outcomes'. EACTS prides itself on its established position within the industry but also its progress and evolution. The new logo is a modern interpretation of the heart and lung motif, housed within a circle to represent their global community and a central focal point to highlight their surgical precision and skill, bringing the logo together harmoniously. A visual language then expanded from the logo, including oval framing assets and gradient map overlays for cut-out, high-quality photography to add powerful impact and reflect their cutting-edge practices. Touches like the ECG grid paper ground the visual brand in academia and data-led progress.
