The project

Amy was commissioned to undertake the re-brand and knew it had to feel fresh and contemporary whilst maintaining Barley’s approachability and expertise. The logo is a modern take on high-contrast typefaces that have never gone out of style but exude a sense of well-established roots. With a subtle tweak to the ‘b’ to create a triangular arrow on the ascender, it represents forward-thinking ideas, progress and impact, used throughout the visual identity to highlight important messages and focus audience attention. The colour palette is mindful and promotes compassion, creativity and open communication with colours like teal and golden yellow.
